We are back! This week we have the last post about regular verbs, this time with -IR ending. With this kind of verbs, the conjugation form is similar to -ER regular verbs. Again, you have to take into account the endings according to the person and the ending of the verb.
For example, with the verb Vivir, we need to conjugate like this:
Yo vivo
Tú vives
Él/ella/usted vive
Nosotros/nosotras vivimos
Ellos/ellas/ustedes viven
After this short explanation, we present some of this verbs and a sentence for each verb:
- Descubrir
Los arqueólogos descubren ciudades antiguas
2. Discutir
Mi amigo y yo discutimos sobre arte todas las tardes
3. Escribir
María siempre escribe cartas para sus amigas
4. Esculpir
El artesano esculpe las figuras de barro
5. Invadir
Los romanos invadieron casi toda Europa
6. Partir
Los barcos que van para el Caribe parten todos los días por la tarde.
7. Prohibir
En este restaurante prohiben la entrada a los perros
8. Subir
Yo subo las escaleras de la calle para llegar a mi trabajo
9. Sufrir
Este hombre sufre una grave enfermedad
10. Vivir
Vivimos en el cuarto piso de este edificio.
